Phil was made a life member in 2015, and at which point Phil had been a player for Epping YMCA Football Club for 31 seasons, playing his junior football with the club, before moving into the Premier League Squad in 1992. Phil’s final season with PL / SL was only in 2014 at the ripe old age of 39, before playing the 2015 season in the Over 35 Division 2 side. He coached at every age grade from Under 8’s to Premier League. Phil had two stints as head coach of the PL / SL squad, bringing many players to the Y to strengthen the playing group over that time.
